George Bird Removals

Having had the lovely Adam round for a quote, we lost our original buyer and having a new completion date some 3 months later Adam made the arrangements. We used the full packing service, so didn't have to move around boxes . A member of the team came and packed up a lot of the belongings the day before. Removal day , they returned and completed the packing and loading and we were away before midday. We cannot give enough praise for how they made the whole experience go smooth and easy. We would not hesitate in recommending this company . Fantastic service!

George Bird Removals were superb. The quote for removal came through within a few hours and boxes were delivered on time. The 3 guys that moved me were professional, friendly and respectful - it felt more like friends helping me move than 3 people I'd never met and they handled my belongings carefully. It was a wet day and they thoughtfully put down rugs in my new place to protect the laminate flooring from getting too muddy and asked me where I wanted furniture and boxes and stacked them sensibly. I'm still unpacking but so far, none of my items have been damaged. I'd highly recommend George Bird Removals - I wish I'd known about them when I moved last time!

We used George Bird when we moved 2 weeks ago and they were excellent. I have already recommended them for other friends..
The staff were all polite, warm and helpful. The service was professional and friendly. They made what could have been a very stressful experience (as it was when I last moved house) into as pleasant an experience as it could have been. Everyone involved had a real "can do" attitude and made us feel completely at ease.
If we were to move again - hopefully not - I would definitely use George Bird again.

We used George Bird Removals for our house move (small terrace to mid-sized semi) back in March 2016. One member of the team came and packed up the house of the Thursday and then the full team of five came on Friday to do the actual move. Both services were very good - efficient, organised and friendly - and all our goods made it to the right rooms in the new house in one piece. I also really appreciated the pragmatic and helpful advice from Adam in advance of the move about fridge contents, plant pots etc. The fee was reasonable and I would both use them again myself and recommend them to others.

George Bird Removals provided us with a fantastic level of service, and I would definitely recommend them.

We did our own packing, and used the company just for the removals (a fairly large move - two 7.5t trucks).

The crew were absolutely fantastic - not just for their incredible hard work but also for their friendliness, humour and reassurance during day's move. We've not quite finished unpacking yet, but so far everything we have unpacked has survived the move intact.

I also think the fee was good value for money, compared to other quotes we received.

I would like to thank you and your team for taking care of our removals from Harrow to Emsworth in such a short time scale it is a shame the solicitors couldn’t match your professionalism in transferring the finance’s in good time so I could have let your chaps into our new home. A quick call to the local estate agents sorted that problem out and by the time we arrived the Lorries were nearly all unpacked and another half an hour and the job was done. The bedroom and lounge was laid out so we could just make the bed have a sit down and the rest could wait!

It will take a few months to sort ourselves out; Barbara was right about the spanner bag it was packed away. The washing machine is all connected up and the voice in my ear has gone I’ll have to sort out a leaking tap next but that’s another day.
